Ashenivir Zauvym

Description

With soft features, deep violet skin, and big, beautiful red eyes, Ashenivir is a very pretty drow, and very aware of the fact. He wears his hair long - longer of late - and usually either loose or in a ponytail with simply braids at his temples, or tied back into a longer braid. The latter is more common when he's engaging in scenes with Rizeth, as they both like the way it comes apart.

As of Arc 3, he has his ears pierced, though he doesn't wear much jewellery very often. He dresses reasonably well, in fairly typical wizard-y fare: simple base layers of dark leggings and shirt, with robes overtop.

He also has an absoultely irresistible smile, that lights up his whole face, and Rizeth is very normal about it.

About

Ashenivir is intelligent, a quick learner, and curious about all the world around him. Something of a polyglot, he picks up languages quite quickly - though never feels satisfied in himself that he's fluent enough in them. He has a tendency towards obsessive focus, especially if there's some problem or puzzle to solve, and he has a strong determination to always see through what he begins. He hates failing or making mistakes, especially where anyone else can see - his perfectionist streak is something he's still working on, though since serving Rizeth he's gotten better at dealing with failure.

He's also a born submissive, and deeply enamoured of most things kink. He loves getting into subspace because it lets him turn his brain off; it's almost meditative for him in that way (when it's not just a huge turn-on). He enjoys intensity - sensation, taste, experience; everything. He'll try most anything once, though it took a full breakdown mid-scene for him to realise what one of his hard limits was.

Importantly, he's also a huge brat, and the more he gets to lean into and express that side of himself with Rizeth, the more I love him for it. He's never more adorable than when he's being a menace on purpose.

Backstory

Before he transitioned, Ashenivir was originally sent to the Shrine of the Dark Maiden to train as a priestess. After he went through the changedance, his mother wasn't particularly pleased, and he had a rough few years between leaving the Shrine and going to the Arcanum to follow in his brother's footsteps as a wizard.

During that between time - and in his early Arcanum years - he expressed a lot of his newfound trans body joy in having something of a Hot Boy Slut era, and sleeping with a lot of people. Some of them he absolutely shouldn't have, and he was very lucky to not get himself into too much trouble. Eventually he settled into a somewhat stable collection of paramours across the city, with whom he hooked up regularly until he started getting more involved with Rizeth.

Relationships

His most important relationship is, naturally, with Rizeth Velkon'yss. What began as a schoolboy crush was brought to life in a D/s and study arrangement that sent him on a headfirst slide into his first real romantic relationship. Rizeth is very much the love of his life (even if it took several years for him to realise it), and Ashenivir is absolutely stupid about him.

On a slightly meta level, Ashenivir is loosely polyamorous, but perfectly happy staying monogamous with Rizeth: he loves him so much that the only way he'd want another person involved is if Rizeth did too. Fortunately, Rizeth satisfies basically all his romantic and sexual needs.

Other than Mr Love of My Life, Ashenivir does actually have friends. The miscreants of the Arcanum - Keszriin Eilist'tra, Vuzree Abbyn'tyth, and Pellanue and Dresvan Hyn - have been his closest ones for some time. Keszriin he's known since they were at the Shrine together; she left a little while after he did, and came to the Arcanum along with him, so they're both older than the other three. She's his best friend, and he'd trust her with anything.
